Research Boundary
Atlas can interpret evidence. It cannot tell anyone what to trade.
The product boundary is part of the product. Every surface should help users understand the market story and the evidence limits without crossing into personal instruction.
AllowedAtlas can summarize filings, source deltas, macro context, chart orientation, risks, catalysts, and open questions.
ForbiddenAtlas cannot give position instructions, execution guidance, account-specific recommendations, or guaranteed outcomes.
VisibleReports, exports, email, docs, and account screens carry the research-only limit.
HonestThin source rails should produce explicit gaps, not stronger-sounding prose.
Allowed vs Not Allowed
| Allowed | Not allowed |
|---|---|
| Source-backed interpretation of filings, issuer materials, macro calendar context, and market structure. | Personal trade instruction, brokerage execution, or account-specific risk sizing. |
| Risk register, catalyst map, open questions, and what would change the research view. | Guaranteed outcomes, unsupported certainty, or language that implies a promised result. |
| Clear missing-data labels and source freshness status. | Pretending that absent evidence is complete evidence. |
Plain Rule
Note: A reader should leave Atlas with a clearer research file and source trail, not an instruction to transact.
