What changed for RadNet, Inc. today
The quarterly numbers for RadNet, Inc. are in and they read like a scan you don’t want to see twice: revenue of $575.6 million for the three months to 31 March 2026 is impressive, but net losses of $33.5 million and operating losses of $23.9 million are what the hospital chain’s CFO actually filed with the SEC. The company’s cash balance is healthy at $455.3 million, yet it is dwarfed by $2.53 billion of liabilities, leaving shareholders with $1.08 billion of equity that feels more like a patient invoice than an investment stake. Diluted EPS stood at minus forty-three cents on 77.1 million shares in issue, so every dollar of growth is being cut in half by the weight of the balance sheet.
RadNet is, by its own website, a national leader in high-quality diagnostic imaging through more than 290 outpatient centres across America, offering MRI, PET/CT, 3D mammography and ultrasound services. The company also markets a technology division called eRAD that promises to automate radiology workflows, and centres of excellence in breast and prostate health that deploy 3T MRI and 3D mammography technology. Yet the 10-Q tells a different story: the centres may be excellent, but the economics are still in the red. The glossy pitch-“Advancing Imaging Through Innovation & Technology”-sits awkwardly beside a quarterly loss. The company’s press releases tout record first-quarter results and upwardly revised guidance for revenue, adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow, but the cash-flow statement shows only $79 million generated from operations, a figure that barely covers the daily cost of running 290-plus imaging suites.
Filings tell the technical tale in forensic detail. The 10-Q for the quarter ending 31 March 2026 lists revenue of $575.6 million, net loss of $33.5 million, operating loss of $23.9 million, assets of $3.89 billion, liabilities of $2.53 billion, stockholders’ equity of $1.08 billion, cash and cash equivalents of $455.3 million, net cash provided by operating activities of $79.0 million, diluted EPS of minus forty-three cents, and a diluted weighted average share count of 77.1 million. The numbers are precise, the period is current, and the headline is plain: RadNet is still in the red while it scales.
RadNet’s own product pages describe outpatient imaging centres, centres of excellence, and an eRAD technology division that sells radiology information systems, PACS, and patient/provider portals. The marketing copy is polished and the centres are real, but the 10-Q shows the cash generation is still playing second fiddle to the growth story. The company’s newsroom highlights record first-quarter results and upwardly revised guidance, yet the cash-flow line remains the bottleneck. Until the operating cash flow line consistently beats the capex line, the polished platform story will keep bumping against the raw ledger.
For evidence hunters, the SEC filings are the source of truth. The EDGAR index for CIK 790526 lists Forms 4, 144, and other ownership updates filed in June 2026, while the companyfacts JSON and submissions JSON provide the structured data behind the headlines. The filings show routine insider trades and routine updates, but they do not change the underlying math in the 10-Q. The newsroom’s press releases can trumpet record results, but the operating cash-flow line in the 10-Q tells the real story: $79 million generated against a backdrop of $23.9 million in operating losses. The gap between the polished story and the filed fact remains the single most interesting tension in this file.
The SEC filings and the 10-Q are the only sources that matter here, and they tell a consistent tale: revenue is growing, losses are shrinking but still real, and cash on hand is cushioning the landing while the company works through its operating leverage. The product pages and newsroom copy are colour, but the filings are the contract. Until the operating cash flow line turns consistently positive and the net loss line flips to profit, the polished story remains a work in progress. The next 10-Q will be the decisive scan.

Methodology
This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
