Atlas Methodology

Evidence first. Interpretation second. No fake completeness.

Every Atlas report is built the same way: resolve the real instrument, gather verifiable evidence, label what is fresh and what is carried forward, then write one coherent read. This page describes that pipeline honestly — including what happens when a step fails.

01Asset-class routing

Atlas first resolves what you actually picked: an equity, an ETF, a crypto pair, a commodity, an FX pair, an index, or a macro instrument. That decision controls everything downstream. Company filings are only used for company-like instruments. Bitcoin never gets treated like a SEC registrant; gold never gets a balance sheet; an FX pair never gets an earnings calendar. Crypto, oil, gold, FX, and indices are routed to chart, macro, commodity, or crypto source rails instead.

02Source hierarchy

Preferred sources are official filings and public primary sources: SEC EDGAR for US companies, EIA and OPEC for oil context, central-bank and national-statistics sources for macro, exchange and protocol documentation for crypto, and TradingView for the live browser chart. Sources are ranked, and generic links are labelled as context, not proof. If a claim cannot be tied to a source, it is presented as interpretation — never dressed up as fact.

03The daily research substrate

Each covered symbol carries one research context that is refreshed on a daily cycle: price and candlestick history, market structure, catalysts, and the authored Market Wit paragraph. Every report is rendered from that substrate, so the browser page, the PDF export, and the email all tell the same story on the same evidence. Per-field freshness is tracked — when a field is carried forward rather than re-verified, the report says so instead of pretending it was checked this morning.

04Scout lanes

Scout lanes gather evidence only: source pack, filings or fundamentals, news and catalysts, macro calendar, and chart context. Lanes run independently, and a failed lane is never shown as finished research — it becomes a declared coverage gap handed to the composer, which writes around it openly.

05Final composer

You should never see raw lane fragments, provider stack traces, stale examples, or stitched mini-essays. The final composer receives market context, workflow, output style, verified sources, and coverage gaps, then writes one coherent report with a single voice. The same substrate renders to every format — free snapshot, source pack, full research report, authored file, fast brief — without each button inventing its own version of the truth.

06Quality gates

Reports pass through automated gates before publication: a fabrication gate (claims must trace to the evidence pack), a voice gate (no template scars, no self-promotion injected into analysis), and a branding gate (the analysis paragraph is about the asset, not about Atlas). A report that fails a gate is repaired or held — it is not published broken.

07Charts

Symbol pages and PDF exports carry real candlestick charts built from daily OHLC data refreshed every morning, with price and time axes, the day change, the window high–low, and a weekly outlook. The live, zoomable chart in the browser is TradingView's, linked per instrument — including the broker-equivalent feeds for licence-restricted indices.

08Delivery states

Browser history is the first source of truth. Email delivery requires a confirmed address, and a receipt row moves through requested → queued → sent or failed. The UI shows that state honestly — Atlas does not pretend an email was delivered when it was not.

09Security and verification

The platform behind this methodology runs bank-grade transport and content security: A+ TLS (Qualys SSL Labs), A+ headers (Mozilla HTTP Observatory, 120/100), cryptographically hash-locked scripts, and Stripe-hosted payments at PCI DSS Level 1. The full posture was audited and signed by Claude Fable 5, Anthropic's frontier AI — read the audit and re-run every public test yourself.
