What changed for Public Storage today
Public Storage’s strongest current development is not a glossy product release but a set of July SEC filings around debt guarantees. The 13 July 2026 8-K says Public Storage guaranteed 0.875% senior notes due 2032, 0.500% senior notes due 2030, and 3.500% senior notes due 2034 issued by Public Storage Operating Company.
The operating business is easier to understand than the legal rail. Public Storage sells self-storage to people and organisations that need space, with its product page describing decluttering uses and units ranging from storage lockers and 5x5 spaces to 10x25 units and larger spaces that may accommodate RVs and oversized items.
The latest supplied SEC financials give the story its scale. For the 10-Q period ending 31 March 2026, Public Storage reported $1.22B of revenue, $526.3M of net income attributable to parent, $474.3M of operating income, diluted EPS of $2.71, $694.8M of net cash provided by operating activities, $19.85B of assets, $10.53B of liabilities, and $9.22B of stockholders’ equity attributable to parent.
The source-change rail is filing/source-led and does not use chart-derived signals. Chart context is available separately on this page through the Atlas chart snapshot or TradingView route where available. The market mechanism visible today is fundamental and legal: a real estate operating company with cash-generating storage assets, public filings, and fresh debt-guarantee documentation.
The 9 July and 13 July 424B5 filings both refer to Public Storage announcing on 16 March 2026 that it had entered into the NSA Agreement. They also include guarantee-risk language saying that, if a guarantee is subordinated to other obligations, Public Storage cannot assure holders that funds to satisfy the guarantee would be made available from subsidiaries or any other source.
What remains unproven on the supplied rail is just as important as what is proved. The evidence does not provide current occupancy, same-store revenue, rental-rate changes, fresh guidance, dividend action, buyback detail, or post-March quarterly results. Today’s file is therefore a disciplined one: strong operating figures from the March 2026 10-Q, fresh July capital-structure filings, and a customer rail that shows the practical service underneath the securities filing trail.

Methodology
This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
