What changed for Gauzy Ltd. today
Gauzy Ltd. last week reminded the world that its suspended-particle-device smart glass is now in serial production for General Motors’ Cadillac CELESTIQ, deliveries beginning in 2026. The company markets the glass as a privacy, comfort and design upgrade for luxury cabins-a neat trick when your buyer is already paying the price of a small house. What the press release does not say is how many CELESTIQs have been delivered, what Gauzy invoices per pane, or whether the programme is cash-flow positive after the first hundred units.
The firm’s other headline is its truck-and-bus ADAS: a camera-monitor system that won R46 homologation back in 2017 and now bills itself as the global market leader. Gauzy claims its technology is the only known retrofit solution for existing fleets and a Tier-1 option for OEMs. Translation: the company sells cameras you bolt onto old trucks and promises to keep doing so until someone standardises the kit. The filing rail has yet to surface a revenue line that breaks the retrofit and OEM tiers apart, leaving investors to guess whether either line is turning a profit. (source: Truck and Bus ADAS - Gauzy, https://www.gauzy.com/safety-tech-adas/?link=Products)
Gauzy’s glossy site features smart-glass showrooms, press clippings and a newsletter signup that promises ‘the latest trends’. The page itself is evidence of marketing spend, not order flow. The smart-glass product page boasts PDLC and SPD technology that ‘transforms new and existing glass into dynamic surfaces’, a neat sentence that, like many neat sentences, does not include a price list. The evidence rail supplies no quarterly or annual filings with GAAP revenue, net income, or operating cash-flow numbers, so any valuation anchor is guesswork. (source: Smart Glass Technology - Gauzy, https://www.gauzy.com/smart-glass-technology/)
The company’s press room also notes a partnership with Renault Trucks and a French government innovation programme, unveiled at Solutrans 2025. The release is an echo chamber of intent-conference booth photographs, memoranda of understanding, and a promise to ‘accelerate ADAS’-but no revenue milestone is disclosed. The same press page carries a 2025-Q3 earnings-reschedule notice, confirming that the company decided against releasing that quarter’s numbers; no explanation is provided. Investors therefore have no GAAP performance to anchor the story. (source: Press - Gauzy, https://www.gauzy.com/press/)
The smart-glass and ADAS stories overlap only at the level of slideware. Smart glass is a luxury-component supplier to a single, high-spec vehicle programme; ADAS is a retrofit play for commercial fleets that have not yet standardised safety stacks. Neither segment has disclosed volumes, margins, or cash-flow generation. Until the filings change, the trading thesis is built on vapourware and optics rather than operating reality. Methodology
This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
