The board of Endeavour Silver is now officially in the silver-buying business-just not the human kind. Management has spent the last year turning a patch of Mexican scrubland into Terronera, a mine that started commercial production on 1 October 2025 and is now expected to spew out its first annualised guidance in January 2026. For now, investors are left squinting at a newsroom photo of a shiny rock and the promise that the balance sheet will soon cough up something more substantial than ore dust (source: Endeavour Silver | Endeavour Silver Announces Commercial Production at Terronera, https://www.edrsilver.com/news-media/news/endeavour-silver-announces-commercial-production-a-11543/).

Endeavour Silver has crossed the commercial-production finish line at Terronera , the newest mine in Mexico’s Jalisco state, and management now plans to issue its first annualised 2026 production and cost guidance in January 2026. The milestone matters because Terronera is the company’s biggest organic growth story in a decade: once it ramps, it is expected to extend Endeavour’s life-of-mine silver equivalent output by roughly 25-30 % on current run-rates. For a mid-tier miner that has spent years juggling brownfield expansions and dividend cheques, converting a greenfield asset into steady ounces is the corporate equivalent of turning a bicycle into a tandem.

Terronera sits 65 km west of Guadalajara, in a mining-friendly state where Endeavour already runs its La Luz operation. The geological promise is high-grade silver-gold mineralisation, and recent drill results have shown mineralisation extending both along strike and at depth beyond the original mine plan. Luis Castro, chief operating officer, framed it as “exploration potential that exists beyond the current Terronera mine plan,” which is mining-speak for “we may have underestimated how much metal is down there.” The company has yet to publish an updated mineral resource estimate to match the drill intercepts, so the reserve book remains the single biggest unknown hanging over the project’s economics.

Q2 2026 production clocked 1,943,955 oz of silver and 10,474 oz of gold, for 3.4 million silver-equivalent oz on a combined basis. Year-to-date, Endeavour has produced 6.8 million silver-equivalent oz, a figure that includes the ramp-up of Terronera and steady output from existing assets. The filings do not break out Terronera’s contribution to the quarterly total, so investors are still guessing how much of the 3.4 million oz came from the new mine versus legacy operations. The company also does not disclose cash costs or all-in sustaining costs by mine in its quarterly releases, leaving analysts to triangulate from historical averages and management commentary.

The Terronera image on the company site is a hero shot of a haul truck against a blue sky-cinematic, but silent on whether the truck is carrying ore or marketing. There is no live ore-sorter camera, no 24-hour production dashboard, and certainly no quarterly cash-flow breakdown by mine. For now, Terronera’s story is still a corporate slide deck rather than a balance-sheet reality. The next filing that will matter is the January 2026 guidance update, followed by Q4 2026 reserves.

What investors do know: Terronera is running, high-grade mineralisation is extending, and the company’s aggregate silver-equivalent production in H1 2026 is 6.8 million oz. What they don’t know: how much of that tonnage is Terronera, what Terronera’s cash costs will be, when the updated reserve will land, and whether the board’s AGM vote margins were nail-biters or standing ovations. The chart rail on EXK shows a stock that has clawed back from 2024 lows but remains 30 % below its 2021 peak; without Terronera-specific cash-flow transparency, the shares are still trading on narrative rather than hard numbers.

Terronera is the company’s largest organic growth project in a decade, yet the evidence stops short of telling us how much of the 6.8 million silver-equivalent oz produced in H1 2026 came from the new mine. The drill results prove the geology is there; the mine plan proves the trucks are running; the AGM vote proves the board got re-elected; the Q2 2026 production figure proves the mills are spinning. What remains unproven is the margin on every Terronera ounce once stripping, processing and G&A are fully loaded. Until the January 2026 guidance and the Q4 2026 reserve update drop, Terronera is a promise wrapped in a drill core and a drone flight, not a cash engine.

Methodology

This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
