AVPT is the shorthand; AvePoint, Inc. is the harder part. Behind the 'Confidence Platform' PowerPoint fog sits a company with $117.2 million in booked revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, a figure that would look healthier if the company's goodwill hadn't swollen to $265.8 million. Markets love shorthand because it fits on a phone and moves quickly. Businesses are less cooperative. They need customers, demand, cash, management decisions, supply chains, products, and enough patience to survive their own PowerPoint habits (source: public profile, https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1777921/000143774926023714/xslF345X06/rdgdoc.xml).

Behind the ‘Confidence Platform’ PowerPoint fog sits a company with $117.2 million in booked revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, a figure that would look healthier if the company’s goodwill hadn’t swollen to $265.8 million. The headline SaaS jump-31.6% in North America and 39.1% in EMEA-confirms Microsoft 365 data protection and governance are the real moneymakers, while the rest of the product stack (tyGraph analytics, EnPower governance, Cloud Backup Express) tag along like well-dressed extras. The company’s own product pages tout ‘seamless protection within Microsoft security boundary’ and ‘rapid recovery,’ which is corporate speak for ‘we sell insurance against the next headline breach.’

The cash headline is real: $444.1 million in cash and equivalents, up from $442.8 million last quarter, but the $1.3 million capitalised in PP&E shows how little of that cash is being ploughed into physical gear. Instead, the company is betting its future on software-$13.8 million in R&D this quarter-while the diluted share count creeps upward, now 226.1 million shares. The optics are perfect: strong SaaS growth, a fortress balance sheet, and a product suite that sounds like it was written by a Microsoft partnership manager on a caffeine binge. The only thing missing is a line item showing how much of that ‘confidence’ translates to earnings per share, which clocked in at seven cents for the quarter.

The company’s 10-Q lays out the mechanics: North America revenue rose 21.2% to $44.2 million, driven by a 31.6% jump in SaaS; EMEA grew 30.4% to $38.4 million, with SaaS up 39.1%. Term licenses and services revenue slipped slightly, which is the kind of detail that gets glossed over in the glossy product decks. The cash flow line is the cleanest read: $24.3 million of operating cash, with only $1.3 million sunk into fixed assets-so the company is largely capital-light, which is good if you like your business models light on hardware and heavy on margin. The balance sheet totals $734.2 million in assets against $295.4 million in liabilities, leaving a net-cash position that would make any CFO smile-until you notice the goodwill sits at $265.8 million, which is the accounting footprint of every acquisition the company has ever made.

If you want a chart, the SEC filings are your best guide, and the raw numbers are what they are: revenue up, cash up, goodwill up, shares up, EPS flat. The company’s product rail shows a suite designed to ‘reduce risk, improve efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation,’ which in practice means selling Microsoft 365 backup, recovery, governance, and analytics to enterprises that have already bought Microsoft 365. The tension isn’t in the product story-it’s in whether the next leg of growth comes from new logos or deeper penetration, and whether the share-count creep eventually erodes the cash advantage.

What’s missing from the filings is any segment-level margin detail, any disclosure on customer concentration, and any forward guidance beyond the plain-vanilla boilerplate. The company’s product pages are slick, the 10-Q is thorough, but the operating leverage story-how much extra dollar lands on the bottom line when SaaS ticks up another 10%-is still a black box. Until the company breaks out segment margins or gives a steer on FY26, the market is left guessing whether the next quarter’s cash flow will look like $24.3 million again or whether the SaaS flywheel finally starts to spin faster than the share dilution.

The good news: the cash pile is real. The bad news: so is the goodwill. The intriguing part: can the company turn SaaS growth into EPS growth before the share count turns the corner?

Methodology

This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
