What changed for Leverage Shares 2X Long AMAT Daily ETF today
AMAU is a Leverage Shares product that promises to deliver 2X the daily return of Advanced Micro Devices common stock, repackaged as an ETF listed on Nasdaq. The fund’s mandate is clear: double the daily move of AMAT shares, reset every 24 hours, and charge 1.39% a year for the privilege. That mandate does not promise to double your money; it promises to double the daily return of a single stock you could have bought yourself without the wrapper or the fee.
What changed this week is that the ticker is now live on Nasdaq, with thin volume and a price that tracks a concentrated bet rather than the chip giant itself. The fund’s top holdings, as shown in its prospectus, are the same AMAT common shares anyone can buy on any brokerage screen, plus the cash needed to juice the 2X leverage and enough derivatives to stay within regulatory limits. The issuer’s marketing page calls it “harness the power of semiconductor momentum,” which is marketing fluff rather than a filing fact.
The fund’s expense ratio and tracking method are disclosed in the SEC filings: 1.39% annual fee, daily reset, NAV calculated once per day at 4 p.m. Eastern. The SEC EDGAR fund search confirms the ticker identity and the issuer’s status as a Leverage Shares ETF, but it does not publish the fund’s actual AUM, holdings concentration beyond the top line, or the daily tracking difference versus the 2X multiple of AMAT’s price. Those numbers are either redacted or not yet filed in the evidence pack.
The Nasdaq market page shows the fund’s price and volume, but the chart does not prove the 2X leverage works as advertised; it only proves the price exists. For a fund that resets daily, yesterday’s 2X gain can become today’s 2X loss, and the chart you see is a single day’s worth of reset math, not a guarantee of tomorrow’s move. The FINRA Fund Analyzer confirms the expense ratio and the fund’s status as a concentrated ETF, but it does not guarantee the fund will track 2X the daily return of AMAT under stressed market conditions.
What remains unproven is the fund’s AUM, its average daily volume since listing, its tracking difference over rolling weeks, and whether the 2X leverage survives a gap open or a 10% after-hours move in AMAT. The evidence also does not show the fund’s holdings list beyond the top line or the derivative overlays used to maintain the 2X exposure. Those facts would deepen the file and let readers judge whether the wrapper is worth 1.39% a year.

Methodology
This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
