Arteris, Inc. likes to call itself the world's premier system-on-chip integration company, but the balance sheet it filed on 7 July 2026 shows a $22.9 million revenue line that still hasn't turned the lights on-net loss of $8.0 million, operating loss of $9.3 million, and a shareholder equity of $2.6 million that is officially closer to zero than to Silicon Valley riches. The cash pile is real at $11.7 million, yet the company burned $7.1 million in operating cash during the three months to 31 March 2026, a figure that would make any chip engineer spill their espresso. What changed for Arteris, Inc. today

Open full report
AIP daily contextvalidated public digest14 source rail2026-08-07 02:40 UTC

Arteris, Inc. filed its quarterly 10-Q on 7 July 2026 and the headline is simple: revenues of $22.9 million were not enough to offset a net loss of $8.0 million for the three months to 31 March 2026. Operating loss clocked in at $9.3 million, while cash used in operations was $7.1 million, a figure that would make any industrial CFO reach for the indigestion tablets.

What Arteris actually does is sell system-on-chip interconnect technology and SoC integration software to chip designers who need to move data faster than a data-centre server can say ‘latency.’ The company’s product family includes cache-coherent network-on-chip IP (Ncore and FlexNoC), end-to-end Magillem automation software for IP packaging and connectivity, and hardware-security-assurance tooling aimed at preventing vulnerabilities before tape-out. In press releases this month, Arteris boasted that NXP is using its data-movement fabric and Magillem automation to accelerate edge-AI leadership, while also completing the acquisition of Magillem Design Services assets to create what it calls the world’s premier SoC integration company.

The 10-Q shows total assets of $139.9 million versus liabilities of $137.3 million, leaving shareholders’ equity at $2.6 million; short-term investments were $21.6 million at 30 September 2025, but that cash is being burned faster than a wafer fab in overclock mode. Diluted loss per share was 17 cents on 45.5 million diluted shares, and capex for the quarter was a modest $295 k-peanuts compared with the R&D tab of $14.5 million. The company’s own auditor issued a going-concern explanatory paragraph because management has not yet demonstrated it can generate positive cash flows for a full year.

For a view of Arteris in the context of SoC interconnect peers, TradingView maintains a chart under the ticker AIP on the Nasdaq GM; the file carries no embedded levels or advice-it is a neutral price-volume display only.

The past fortnight’s SEC filings consist of the 10-Q, six related exhibits, and the customary index update; none of the submissions contain segment-level cash-flow breakdowns, forward-looking guidance, or detailed customer concentration metrics beyond the generic press releases. Until Arteris supplies a filing that breaks down revenue by end-market or discloses material customer concentrations, the market must treat the $22.9 million figure as an aggregate that could shift materially on the loss (or survival) of a single large design win.

Arteris’s latest press releases trumpet deployments by NXP and the Magillem acquisition, yet the 10-Q’s cash-flow line shows the company is still haemorrhaging operating cash. The gap between the marketing slide deck and the auditor’s going-concern note is now too large to ignore.

Methodology

This profile is generated daily from public sources including SEC EDGAR (US-listed companies), NASDAQ Trader files, exchange listings, public macro/central-bank releases, CoinGecko crypto market files where relevant, and the TradingView global symbol catalog. Multi-model AI may assist drafting and review where configured, but sources remain the evidence rail; the chart is an Atlas static OHLC rail with a live TradingView link when verified bars are available; otherwise the page keeps the verified TradingView route as an explicit fallback.
