Understand volatility before treating it as a story
Volatility is not one number and it is not a prediction. Atlas gives you a route from the VIX market profile to scheduled macro events, attached sources and a research file you can inspect, save and revisit.

Four questions for the evidence file
Start with the current VIX profile and Atlas Pulse. Separate a newly attached source or material context change from older context that is still being carried for review.
Use Macro Radar to identify scheduled inflation, employment, rate and growth releases. A calendar event is context to inspect, not a forecast of direction.
Open the evidence rail and trace each public claim to its source. If the source does not support the claim, Atlas should expose the gap rather than smooth it over.
Save the browser research file when the source trail and limitations are clear. Reopen it after the event to compare what changed without pretending the earlier file knew the outcome.
Cboe VIX product and methodology
Atlas links the public market file to attributable evidence. Use the source publication date and scope when deciding whether it is current enough for the question you are researching.
Evidence first, uncertainty retained
This guide organises public research routes. It does not predict price direction, recommend a transaction or replace professional advice. Atlas is most useful when the source trail is inspected, gaps remain visible and the completed research file is compared when the evidence changes.
