Public data-source methodology

Atlas ingests primary public sources and exposes methodology pages for SEC EDGAR, NASDAQ Trader, BLS, BEA, Federal Reserve, ONS and ECB feeds. SEC EDGAR filings are timestamped to within 15 minutes of publication and normalized into structured JSON via the official RSS endpoint. NASDAQ Trader data is sourced from the Official Market Data API with millisecond granularity and back-filled to January 1 2020. BLS releases are aligned to the scheduled publication calendar and cross-checked against the BLS API v2 JSON payloads. BEA releases follow the NIPA schedule and are reconciled against the BEA interactive data tables. Federal Reserve releases use the FRED API with vintage timestamps preserved. ONS and ECB releases are ingested from the respective statistical office endpoints and aligned to local time zones. DefiLlama’s RSS spine is used for on-chain TVL and volume feeds, with a 60-second heartbeat and 24-hour look-back for delta calculations. OpenBB’s public endpoints are leveraged for derived indicators such as the Fear & Greed Index and sector rotation scores, with attribution to the OpenBB documentation.

Atlas Macro Radar public routes and dated observations

The route’s public JSON payload includes event_id, jurisdiction, scheduled_time_utc, category, source_name and symbol_tags, enabling programmatic filtering.

Symbol coverage depth and research notes

Atlas symbol coverage provides public endpoints for US equities, European equities and DeFi tokens. The US equity spine includes 4,852 tickers with sector, market-cap and index membership tags. The European spine lists 1,147 tickers with ICB classification and local-exchange mapping. The DeFi spine covers 158 tokens with chain, category and TVL bands. Public research notes linked to the spine include sector rotation studies tied to CPI surprises and event-driven sector screens for FOMC minutes. These notes are published under the Atlas notes route and are dated with UTC timestamps.

OpenBB and DefiLlama integration

OpenBB’s public endpoints are referenced for sentiment and sector scores. The Fear & Greed Index feed is pulled at 60-second intervals and tagged with the last-updated timestamp. DefiLlama’s TVL and volume endpoints are used for cross-asset validation, with a 24-hour delta window and attribution to the DefiLlama API documentation.
